I cannot thank you enough for supplying these talks. I am a special education teacher, PreK-6th grade, in Montana, USA. I am so grateful to have instruction and insight from so many experts available to me. Thank you also for providing the links for follow-up questions and diving deeper into their areas of expertise. This summit will make a difference in the way I approach
assessment, instruction, and intervention in my classroom, as well as how I collaborate with my general education colleagues and parents. All that and I am only halfway through day 1!

Among the 21st century skills is the skill of communication. The need to understand cultures beyond your own. To look beyond borders. And while it is unthinkable in the times of a pandemic to mingle with people next door, leave alone from other geographies – @neobael builds a truly global student community by organizing their student pods from many different nations and cultures. It is like reliving the good old days of penpals from places that we recognized only on maps, but a #Neobael session can bridge the borders by helping students put faces to names. And names to cultures and traditions beyond their circles. ----- via @kidskintha

India's culture is deeply rooted in Nature, and her festivals are the best expression of this phenomenon. We celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi last week, and today is the Nimarjan- the day when the idols go back to the water element. On our balcony stands a little Shyam Tulsi plant that has just sprouted after we immersed a seed-bearing Ganesha murti.

Festivals are also community-building 101 crash courses. As part of our 'Culture Connect' series, we have a member of our community and elementary educator Manjusha Padamsetty talk about how to use a partially forgotten Ganesh Chaturthi ritual as a great experiential learning opportunity for kids. Read on for more. Thank you @ManjushaPadamsetty

The Bhagavad Gita is perceived to be a book for the elderly to be read during the sunset years of life. Nothing is farther from the truth. If anything, children and youth deserve it the most to make their lives richer, fuller, and happier from the world's oldest self-help book whose principles hold true till today and will hold forever. On the occasion of Janmashtami, meet the author who brought the Bhagavad Gita to children. Thank you, @Roopa.pai
