WholeWheat Eggless Marble ( Vanilla – chocolate) Muffins

Makes 8 mid size ones.


2 cups wheat flour

1 ½ cups white sugar ( you can use part brown sugar if you prefer)

½ teaspoon baking powder

1 cup curd (yoghurt)

3/4 cup milk

2/3 cup cooking oil

4 tbsp cocoa powder to mix in divided mixture


How To Make

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees celsius.

Mix together the oil, curd, sugar, milk, chocolate essence.

Sift the wheat flour and baking powder in a bowl.

Blend then liquid ingredients very well. Add the sifted flour.

Separate out half the mixture and add cocoa powder and blend well.

Pour alternate spoonfuls of the two batter into cupcake liners.

With a fork or a toothpick, gently swirl the batter in each portion to give it a marbled appearance.

Bake for 30-35 minutes and remove from the oven.
